Employment Opportunity - Crusher Operations Superintendent 

Full Time – Seasonal/Shift Work, based out of Hay River NT & various NWT construction camps


  • Minimum 5 years of plant management experience, on electric & hydraulic portable crushers, screeners, & conveyors.
  • A thorough knowledge of crusher quality control & specifications & the ability to comprehend & meet design specs.
  • Excellent time management, including the ability to prioritize, delegate, & manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong leadership skills & the ability to manage & motivate personnel.
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft office products, Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.


  • Lead & manage all site planning, operational, quality control, maintenance, safety, environmental, personnel, & community relations duties at the quarry/pit in accordance with company programs, policies, & guidelines & WSCC & government agencies
  • Monitor & ensure safe & efficient processing methods, logistics, equipment management, work force utilization, production maximization, & cost reduction.
  • Manage & maintain appropriate inventory & staffing levels at sites.
  • Maintain production schedules & forecast models, both short- & long-term.
  • Ensure compliance with company mandated safety & environmental policies, programs, & guidelines as well as regulatory compliance in tandem with company safety department.
  • Work closely with Management & Maintenance to develop & implement an effective maintenance program for the plant / process equipment. Monitor & maintain both short-term & long-term maintenance schedules including daily checks & multi-year schedules & major overhauls. According to the Maintenance Plan, set maintenance priorities for mechanics, welders, electricians, & support personnel. Provide personnel with proper guidance & training as needed.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere that attracts skilled workers for a demanding work environment
  • Ensure a clean & safe work environment for all personnel with full compliance in all directives & regulations regarding safety, health, & the environment. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel to remote job sites, work in all types of weather conditions & work shifts & overtime as required. Pay Range is $40.00 - $65.00/ hour DOE.
