We are a smaller Northern company with an excellent reputation specializing in all things related to Fire Protection. Our mainstays are the inspection, testing, and maintenance of various of sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and specialty suppression systems (e.g., clean agent, watermist, and foam etc...). We have specific divisions within the company that deal with fire alarm, sprinklers, and extinguisher / suppression systems.
You will join a fast paced family oriented company, reporting to the manager of the sprinkler division. You work will involve travelling throughout the North from Eureka, NU to Old Crow, YT and all the major mine sites. There will be the occasional stay in the various mines of up to two weeks at a time. You will be expected to acquire an FA2 minimum security clearance, have a professional attitude with your co-workers and clientele, and be willing to take on new challenges. We are currently involved in several installation projects, so if you are interested in the construction side of things, we have that covered.
Wages are commensurate with experience and how it applies to your new role. Certifications in first aid and other safety related courses such as, Fall Arrest, Mobile Work Platforms, WHIMIS, and Confined Spaces, etc., are assets.
